Remote consultations: when they make sense

Some hospitals and clinics in Vietnam offer remote consultations by video or phone. This is convenient for initial advice or simple follow-up.

It suits you when you are far away, have trouble traveling, or just need to ask again about a prescription or existing results. It saves travel time.

However, remote consultation cannot replace an in-person visit when measuring, palpation, or lab tests are needed. The doctor may ask you to come in.

Prepare old results and a list of questions before the call. A stable connection and a quiet place make the session more effective.
