Preparing for inpatient admission
April 08, 2025
A packing list and procedures to know before staying for treatment.
When admission is ordered, you complete the process at the inpatient reception, presenting your documents and health insurance card if you have one.
Pack light personal items: clothes, toiletries, a phone charger, and a little cash. Do not bring valuables to avoid loss.
Note the department name, room number, and bed number. Relatives will find you and coordinate care more easily with clear details.
Ask the nurse about visiting hours, medication times, and ward rules. Knowing the schedule keeps the treatment process smooth.
